iPhone 16 in HD images: “Dynamic Island Edition” of the iPhone X

According to yankodesign's renderings based on the iPhone 16 series molds, the iPhone 16 standard version can be regarded as the "iPhone X Dynamic Island Edition".

The two cameras are arranged in a similar way, the main difference lies in the screen, the iPhone 16 adopts the Dynamic Island "pill screen".

The reason why Apple is reportedly adjusting the camera position is to enable spatial video capture to record videos with a sense of three-dimensionality and depth, thus allowing the iPhone 16 to link up with its own Vision Pro.

Specifically, when shooting spatial videos, the iPhone 16 ultra-wide angle and main camera work simultaneously, and the system automatically adjusts the field of view captured by the ultra-wide angle camera to match the size of the main camera, and then saves the two as a single video file.

When viewing these spatial videos on iPhone, the video content is presented as a regular 2D video with no spatial effects, and it looks just like a regular video.

Only when viewed on Vision Pro, the video is presented in 3D, giving an immersive feeling and a more visually stunning effect.

In addition, the iPhone 16 standard edition is expected to be equipped with Apple's A18 series chips, which will be the most powerful standard edition model in Apple's history.
