Win11 24H2’s ruthless blocking of third-party UI modification software doesn’t work anymore

If you are using some third-party software that can modify the system's UI interface and functions, you must not upgrade the official version of Windows 11 24H2 RTM, because they have all been silently blocked.

According to several netizens' feedback, under the Windows 11 24H2 RTM version, tools like StartAllBack and ExplorerPatcher, which modify the system's start menu, taskbar, and explorer, can no longer be launched normally, and will indicate a security or performance risk.

After repeated attempts, someone found a "solution":

Uninstall the software, upgrade your system to the latest version, re-download the software, rename the exe executable so that it doesn't contain any of the words StartAllBack or ExplorerPatcher, and it will install successfully.

The developers of StartAllBack have also confirmed this and are looking for a better solution.

Apparently, these software have been blacklisted by Microsoft, and are currently identified and judged by their file names, with more advanced blocking methods likely to be added in the future.
