Lenovo may push new brand ThinkPhone

Cell phone market competition is fierce, many brands have endured the wind and rain, some closed down, some integration. Lenovo, as an early domestic cell phone manufacturer, used to have several sub-brands such as Lenovo, ZUK, Lemon, etc. Currently, it only focuses on Motorola series and Saver series.

According to 91Mobile, Lenovo plans to launch a new smartphone brand ThinkPhone, and will launch a new machine with the internal code name Bronco, Lenovo cell phone is expected to come back brand new.

It is not yet clear information on the specifications of the Bronco, but according to Motorola's previously exposed roadmap, in addition to the Canyon (or Edge 40 Pro) and Juno (or Razr 23), the Bronco should be equipped with the best configuration in 2023.

It is reported that Canyon should be the flagship model of next year in terms of specifications, will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 165Hz high refresh screen. The Bronco, on the other hand, should be equipped with the same chip or with the current Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip.

Meanwhile, both models will offer 8GB or 12GB of RAM and a 50MP main camera.

In addition, as seen in Lenovo's fiscal year 2022/2023 first quarter earnings report, its smartphone business revenue achieved a high growth rate of 21%, not only in North America and Latin America to maintain growth, but also in Europe and Asia to achieve the same counter-trend growth.
