Xiaomi 12S Ultra Unboxing

On the evening of July 4, Xiaomi released a new generation of flagship phones Xiaomi 12S series, divided into Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro and Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

The biggest highlight of Xiaomi 12S Ultra is the one-inch sensor IMX989 jointly developed with Sony, which is the first time Xiaomi really touches the camera level in hardware specifications.

The IMX989 features a Quad-Bayer pixel array with an unprecedented 3.2um fused pixels, enabling excellent noise control, a large dynamic range and greater light intake.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is equipped with the Leica Summicron lens system jointly developed with Leica, covering the equivalent focal length of 13mm to 120mm. All three rear lenses support native 8K video.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra is equipped with a 6.73-inch AMOLED screen with E5 light-emitting material, global brightness of 1000nit, peak brightness of 1500nit, resolution of 3200×1440, PPI of 522, and support for 1-120Hz smart refresh rate.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra back is Xiaomi specially developed for cell phones, environmentally friendly silicone vegetal skin in line with the material, its stain resistance, aesthetics and feel even better than many high-end SLR.

In terms of performance, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is equipped with a new generation of Snapdragon 8+ flagship processor, built on a 4nm process, with a 21% smaller core area compared to Snapdragon 8, and both the CPU and GPU gaining a 10% performance boost and a 30% energy efficiency improvement.

Not only that, Xiaomi 12S Ultra has a built-in 4860mAh single-cell silicon oxygen negative battery and Xiaomi Surge P1 fast charging chip, which supports 67W wired second charging, 50W wireless second charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.
