HUAWEI MateBook D 16 Unboxing

On May 23, Huawei launched the MateBook D 16, the first of its kind for the MetaLine antenna. It is the first time that Huawei has applied base-station level hacking signal communication technology to huawei PCS.

Compared with ordinary antennas, the signal conversion efficiency of Huawei Metaline antenna is increased by 56%. When the cover is closed, the antenna speed is nearly doubled; Download speeds are up to 55% faster with weak signals, and the Huawei MateBook D16 is faster with lower latency.

The Huawei MateBook D 16 features a 16-inch 16:10 golden ratio screen. Compared to the traditional 15.6-inch 16:9 screen, the 16:10 screen comes closest to the golden ratio, providing about a 10% increase in vertical display area and a wider field of view.

The MateBook D 16 is also uncompromising when it comes to thinness. Its metal body weighs 1.7kg and is 18.4mm thin, making it even lighter than the 15.6 inch PC on the market.

In terms of performance, The MateBook D 16 is powered by a 12-generation Intel Core standard processor, up to i7-12700H (another I5-12500H is optional). It has 14 cores and 20 threads, which is 97.3% better than the previous generation in multi-core performance, including data analysis, engineering drawing, code compilation and multi-task processing. I can do it easily.

Huawei's MateBook D 16 is compatible with Windows and mobile apps from the ground up, allowing users to check douyin and Dianping for food on their computers. At the same time, it can copy the text on the computer and paste it in the App. It also supports dragging pictures and some documents directly to the App interface for sending.

The MateBook D 16 takes into account user interface requirements, offering a fully functional USB-C port, a USB-3.2GEN1 port, a USB2.0 port, a HDMI2.0 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It can meet the simultaneous use requirements of data transmission, mouse connection, device charging, external 4K display and other scenarios.

The MateBook D 16 uses a compact 65W detachable dual-end USB-C charger that weighs just 126GB, which is 30% smaller than the previous 65W charger. It not only supports fast charging for Huawei MateBook D 16, but also supports super fast charging for some Huawei phones that support super fast charging.
