[IPSW] Apple macOS Sonoma v14.3 (23D56) Official Firmware

Apple's latest macOS Sonoma 14.3 update has completed its beta testing process, and the official version is now available for download to upgrade Macs and MacBooks.

As the first major update to macOS Sonoma in 2024, version 14.3 follows macOS Sonoma 14.2, which was released on December 11. macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 update was released on December 19, and consists primarily of bug fixes.

Released alongside macOS are updates for iOS 17.3, iPadOS 17.3, tvOS 17.3, and watchOS 10.3. As usual, most of the changes are happening to the iOS versions, with relatively minor changes to macOS in comparison.

While the feature changes in macOS Sonoma 14.3 are minor, most of the changes are related behind the scenes, such as performance improvements, bug fixes, and security updates.

This release has version number 23D56, which replaces macOS 14.2.1 with version number 23C71.

To update to macOS Sonoma 14.2, open the System Settings app, select General, and then Software Update. If an update is available, click Update Now and follow the on-screen instructions.

Updating your device's operating system is often one of the best ways to keep your hardware running optimally and securely, and it is recommended that you install it as soon as possible if it is not set to update automatically.
