Intel Arc Drivers v31.0.101.4972 Beta Download

Intel has released a new beta non-WHQL graphics driver for its Intel Arc and Intel Iris Xe GPUs. The new version number is 31.0.101.4972. This is a fairly minor release as it fixes a performance issue in Starfield.

Here's the changelog:

Fixed Issue.

• Starfield (DX12) performance may be lower than expected after update 1.8.86.

Known Issues

• Ghostrunner 2 (DX11) may experience sporadic application crashes during gameplay.
  Total War: PHARAOH (DX11) Corruption may occur after changing the game resolution on some monitors.
• Dead by Daylight (DX11) Application crashes may occur during gameplay.
• Topaz Video AI may experience an error when using certain models for video enhancement.
• Driver installation may not complete successfully on certain laptop systems with both Intel Iris Xe + Iris Xe MAX devices installed. A system reboot and reinstallation of the graphics driver may be required for successful installation.
• Dragon Quest X Online (DX9) may experience sporadic application crashes during gameplay.
• Capturing with Arc Control Studio may incorrectly generate multiple video files in some games.
• The Connector type in the Display screen may incorrectly show DP when connected using an HDMI monitor.
• The Stream Ended pop-up window may appear after a power event with the Capture/Highlights/Broadcast toggle turned on.
• Arc Control may not be able to retain the overall application settings in override mode after a system reboot. The solution is to use Arc Control's desktop mode.
• The Intel Arc Control performance tuning feature is currently in beta. As a result, performance and functionality may be subject to unexpected performance. Intel will continue to refine the performance tuning software in future releases.
