Steam October configuration survey report released: RTX 3060 share soared

Steam has now updated its August hardware and software configuration survey report, showing the hardware and software configurations of Steam users in the past month.

In October, NVIDIA's GTX 1060 accounted for 7.62% of the total, rebounding to its highest share in recent months, while the share of RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Mobile Edition graphics cards soared to become one of the mainstream choices for gamers' installations today.

In contrast, the presence of AMD graphics cards to be lower on the ranking has been squeezed to 15 outside.

Processor, Intel's share in October again increased by 2.26%, while AMD's share was reduced by 2.25%, most players still prefer Intel processors.

As for the system, the share of Win10 64-bit rebounded to 71.41%, while the share of Win11 was 24.22%; interestingly, the share of Win7 showed a counter-trend growth, rebounding 1.23% to reach 3.72%.
