Ming-Chi Kuo : iPhone 14 Pro is exclusive to the A16

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be powered by Apple's new A16 chip, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will still be powered by the A15 chip.

Today, Tianfeng Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also posted that only two iPhone 14 Pro/ high-end models use the latest A16 processor, which will significantly boost the shipment ratio of the new 2H22 iPhone high-end model to around 55-60% (previously 40-50%).

Ming-chi Kuo pointed out that only high-end iPhone models will have the latest processors in the future, so the high proportion of high-end iPhone models will become the norm, which will benefit high-end camera component suppliers.

The news has sparked heated debate on the Internet, with some netizens saying: "Cook's magic operation" and "it's better to buy an iPhone 13."

For now, with no processor upgrades or design changes, the iPhone 13 is a good choice for consumers.

In addition, it has been revealed that the iPhone 14 series will have a price increase of $100 over the previous iPhone 13 series, including $1,099 for the 128GB iPhone 14 Pro and $1,199 for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The top-of-the-line version could rise to about $1,699.

That means the iPhone 14 Pro Max will likely be the most expensive iPhone ever. The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max costs $799 and $899, respectively.

Would you still buy the iPhone 14 series? See you in the comments section.
