Microsoft updates Win11 22H2 CPU requirements: support for 13 generations of Core / Ryzen 7000 now

On September 21, Microsoft released the Windows 11 2022 update, the previously mentioned Win11 22H2 annual update, which is the first major update for Win11 in a year and has been pushed out to the entire network.

This time, Win11 2022 redesigned Start menu, faster and more accurate search, convenient quick settings, support for local news and latest news widget, focus time and no-disturb mode, close to the layout, and automatic HDR, VRR variable refresh rate and so on in games.

Although the hardware requirements for Win11 22H2 remain unchanged, or the same as before, such as TPM 2.0, minimum 8th generation Core and 2nd generation Rex, etc., but Microsoft has quietly updated the CPU support list for Win11 22H2 a few days ago.

This update is a regular upgrade, mainly adding support for the new generation of CPUs, including Intel's 13th generation Core and AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors.

Of course, not to say that the previous update did not support the request, in fact, this update does not affect the use of Microsoft's record update, there is no substantial impact on everyone, 13 generation Core / Ryzen 7000 has long been able to use Win11 22H2.
