iOS 15.7 and iOS 16 are pushed simultaneously: including important security bug fixes

Today, while pushing the official version of the iOS 16 system, Apple pushed the iOS 15.7 (build number: 19H12) version update to users, 26 days after the last update was released.

As a small version update, iOS 15.7 obviously won't bring as many new features as iOS 16, but for users who don't want to try the new system, this update is still quite important.

According to Apple's official news, this update fixes multiple kernel vulnerabilities in the system, and one of the vulnerabilities has been actively exploited by hackers, posing a major security risk.

In addition, the update fixes bugs and security issues in system apps such as Contacts, Maps, Safari, Safari Extensions, Shortcuts, and Webkit.

Therefore, for users, even if they do not want to upgrade temporarily, or the device cannot upgrade to iOS 16, the iOS 15.7 update is still necessary.

It is worth mentioning that Apple has also simultaneously pushed the iPadOS 15.7 version update for iPad users, which also includes fixes for multiple system kernel vulnerabilities.
