Intel Arc Graphics Six in a Row! For the first time, an embedded

Intel Alchemist architecture of the first generation of Arc Razor graphics card has been born for two years, has landed on the desktop, notebook, workstation, nuclear graphics market, and now open up a new field of embedded and edge computing, in one breath released the Arc AE series of six products.

In fact, just a few days ago, Intel also for embedded and edge computing released Meteor Lake processor, also named Core Ultra 100 series, and for the first time using LGA1851 independent package interface, the two together can be said to complement each other.

Intel emphasized that the Arc AE series of graphics cards can be said to bring lower latency, higher bandwidth, better privacy and security in the embedded field, support for AI acceleration, visual computing, multimedia processing, etc., in particular, you can develop high-performance AI applications with the help of the OpenVINNO suite.

The operating system mainly supports Windows 10/11, Windows 10 LTSC, Ubuntu 4.

The overall parameters are also largely similar to the desktop counterpart, with the top end being the Arc A750E, the only 7-series model - yes, there is no A770 counterpart.

It comes with 28 Xe cores (448 execution units), a core frequency of 2050MHz and a power consumption of 225W, but the memory specs aren't disclosed, so I don't know if it's still 256-bit 8GB GDDR6.

The Arc A580E, on the other hand, is the only Series 5 model, with 24 Xe cores (384 execution units), a core frequency of 1700MHz, power consumption of 185W, and memory that is again kept secret.

There are as many as four 3-series models, after all, most of the embedded field does not need too high performance, but also very concerned about power consumption, are provided up to 5 years life cycle.

A380E 8 Xe cores (128 cells), core frequency 2000MHz, 96-bit 6GB GDDR6 memory, power consumption 75W.

The A370E is still 8 Xe units, reduced to 1550MHz, 64-bit 4GB GDDR6 memory, and consumes 35-50W.

The A350E is reduced to 6 Xe units, with the core frequency down to 1150MHz and 25-35W power consumption.

The A310E looks to be the lowest-end, still with 6 Xe units and 4GB of memory, but instead the core frequency is up to 2000MHz and power consumption comes to another 75W, which is in line with the consumer-grade A310, but the whole series looks very much a honeyed setting.

The hardware partners of Arc AE series embedded graphics cards are all Taiwanese brands: Advantech, ADLink, Advantech, Qetina, ASUS IoT, Getac, Matrox, Sparkle.
