Huawei MateBook E Go configuration sneak peek: equipped with Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 pre-installed Win11

Today, Weibo bloggers broke the news that Huawei MateBook E Go is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 processor. Based on the MateBook series product line naming, MateBook E Go is a two-in-one device, form reference Surface Pro series.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 processor, a 5G chip built by Qualcomm for the PC platform.

This chip is built by 5nm process and is the first 5nm chip for Windows platform. It adopts Armv8 architecture, which improves CPU performance by 85%, GPU performance by 60%, single-threaded performance by 40%, the chip's AI computing speed is over 29TOPs, and the GPU part is 40% more energy efficient.

Specifically, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 CPU part has four large 3.0GHz cores, four small 2.4GHz cores, a total of up to 14MB cache, and a TDP of around 15W.

Not only that, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 is equipped with a new Spectra ISP image processing unit with Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 technology, which supports Wi-Fi 6E for 3.6 Gbps connection speed. It is compatible with 4K 120fps HDR video playback, supports 4K HDR video recording, and supports up to four cameras.

In addition, Huawei is expected to equip the MateBook E Go with a stylus and smart keyboard, and it will ship with Windows 11 pre-installed.

Considering that Huawei will release the Mate 50 series in September, we can't rule out the possibility of the MateBook E Go being unveiled on the same stage.
