Apple Vision Pro confirms no Wi-Fi support 6E

Prior to its launch, the Apple Vision Pro received FCC certification, and the FCC document confirms that the Apple Vision Pro does not support Wi-Fi 6E, which came as a surprise.

This is because Wi-Fi 6E is supported by the iPad Pro, iPhone 15 Pro series, and most Mac devices in 2023.

It is understood that the "E" in Wi-Fi 6E stands for Extended, and the most important feature of the standard WiFi 6E is that it supports the 6GHz band, which allows routers to incorporate a new band into the standard for use in addition to the current 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

The Apple Vision Pro does not support Wi-Fi 6E and supports Wi-Fi 6, which means the device can only operate on two bands, 2.4GHz and 5GHz.

The device will be available for pre-order on January 19th and officially go on sale on February 2nd for $3,499 USD, or about Rs. 25,000 USD.

Apple emphasizes that Vision Pro is not AR or VR, it's a spatial computing device that seamlessly blends digital content with the physical world, allowing users to interact with apps through their eyes, movement and sound.
