Apple launches iOS 15.6.1 / iPadOS 15.6.1 firmware and calls for updates as soon as possible

Today Apple pushed out iOS 15.6.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1 firmware updates to iPhone and iPad users. The update focuses on fixing security vulnerabilities and is recommended to be installed by all users.

Apple pointed out in the documentation that this update targets 2 security vulnerabilities. They are the Kernel vulnerability, which allows attackers to execute arbitrary program source code, Apple said this vulnerability has begun to be exploited.

In addition, the WebKit vulnerability can execute arbitrary program source code through malicious web content, which Apple says is already being exploited.
