AMD Zen3+ architecture debut! Ryzan9 6900HX scores soar 33%

The new generation of gaming notebooks and thin and light notebooks will soon be fully released to the market, and today we have our first look at the score results of the Ryzen9 6900HX, which is the first appearance of AMD's Zen3+ architecture.

AMD's Ryzen 6000H, Ryzen 6000U series are using the upgraded Zen3+ CPU architecture, focusing on strengthening energy efficiency, including more than 50 new/enhanced power management features, and optimized for the 6nm process.

The new generation platforms also integrate RDNA2 GPU, support PCIe 4.0, DDR5/LPDDR5, USB4, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.0, and built-in Microsoft Pluton security processor.

The Ryzen9 6900HX is the next flagship model with 8 cores and 16 threads, 4MB of L2 cache, 16MB of L2 cache, 3.3-4.9GHz, 768 GPU stream processors, and 45W+ thermal design power.

On top of it there is also the Ryzen9 6980HX, which can accelerate up to 5.0GHz.

This time, the score is from a Lenovo game book, single-core score 1593 points, multi-core score 10151 points.

If compared to the 7nm Zen3 architecture of the Ryzen9 5900HX, respectively, about 12%, 33% improvement.

If you compare the i7-12900H of the 12th generation Core, it is not very good, Intel can be ahead by about 20% and 40% respectively.

The Ryzen 6000 series notebooks are expected to be officially unveiled on February 1.
