MediaTek Dimensity 9400 performance first exposure

Blogger @DigitalGossipStation has revealed detailed information about MediaTek's Dimensity 9400, which is MediaTek's most powerful cell phone chip.

It is reported that Dimensity 9400 is built on TSMC's 3nm process, which is MediaTek's first 3nm cell phone chip, marking the official entry of the Android camp into the 3nm era.

This chip integrates Immortalis G9 series GPU, CPU design performance single core score 2700 points, multi-core 9800 points.

As a comparison, the Apple A17 Pro multi-core score is around 7,500 points, which is nowhere near the performance of the Dimensity 9400.

In addition, MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 runs GFXBench Aztec at 110fps, compared to 99fps for the previous generation chip, which is a significant performance boost for the Dimensity 9400 in comparison.

As usual, MediaTek will launch the Dimensity 9400 chip at the end of this year, which is up against the Snapdragon 8 Gen4 that debuted at the same time, as well as the Apple A18 series.

Considering that the Vivo X series has debuted the Dimensity 9000 series chips several times, it's possible that the Dimensity 9400 will remain a Vivo debut.
