Win11 task manager ushered in a major update: finally a search bar

Users who often use Winodws Task Manager should have a consensus: it is too difficult to find a process.

This "difficulty" is not only because many programs have similar process names, which is difficult to distinguish, but also because Windows Task Manager does not have any means to search, so users can only look for them one by one.

Now, in the latest version of Win11 Dec 25231, the Task Manager finally received a major update, adding a search bar function.

The current version of the search bar is located at the top of the Task Manager, users can enter the name of the process, publisher, PID, etc., and the search results will be displayed in the original process list.

Compared to the previous purely by eye search, the addition of this feature has certainly greatly increased the convenience of finding a specific process.

It is reported that this feature is expected to be extended to Win11 22H2 in the next few months, when all users of the upgraded version will be able to use this feature.
