Sony’s official announcement of the new camera released on October 26: the new flagship A7R5 is coming
On October 21, Sony officially announced that it will officially launch the new α camera at 22:00 on the evening of October 26. Not surprisingly, it is the A7R5 that everyone is still waiting for.
The last generation A7R4 release is already 3 years ago, it is time for a new king to ascend the throne.
According to previous revelations, Sony's new flagship microsingle A7R5 will use the same 61 megapixel sensor as its predecessor, but upgraded with a new processor and will have a big speed boost.
In addition, the new camera supports 8k/24p (crop), 4k/60p recording, a new autofocus system with deep artificial intelligence learning and an 8-stop body stabilization system.
The A7R5 is rumored to feature the same thermal design as the A7S3, allowing for up to 30 minutes of 8K video recording.
Design-wise, according to Photorumors revealed Sony A7R5 spy photos, the top shooting mode dial has been moved to the left shoulder for the first time, and a separate video button has been added to the vacant spot on the right.
