WordPress 6.1 official release

The world's most used CMS has (almost) released WordPress version 6.1. This is the third major release in 2022. In addition to an improved writing interface for authors, there are additional options for customizing the design of your pages.

The new features of WordPress 6.1 bring a mixed package of features for developers and regular users. What is still inconclusive is whether the handling is optimized to allow the templates to keep up with the systems already in place (Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder) and compete in terms of popularity.

• 5️⃣ Cleaner layout and visualization of document settings: new publish button design, and post template selector
• 6️⃣ One-click locking settings for all internal blocks
• 7️⃣ Improved block placeholders
• 8️⃣ Richer lists and quotes for writing with internal blocks
• 9️⃣ More responsive text with smooth typography: allows to define theme text size, which can be changed to fit the screen width.
