Microsoft releases patch KB5020387 to fix SSL and TLS connectivity issues in Windows 11 21H2
Microsoft has released the KB5020387 out-of-band (OOB) update for users running the Windows 11 21H2 update. It fixes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) connectivity issues on devices running 21H2. KB5020387 is a non-security update and therefore contains only improvements. Other than fixing SSL and TLS connectivity issues, Microsoft has not added any other noteworthy changes in it.
In addition to introducing fixes, the OOB update also increases the OS Build to 22000.1100. If you would like to read the full official changelog, it is given below:
It is worth noting that KB5020387 does not include any known issues. However, this does not include any. This means that Microsoft is not aware of any known issues in this OOB update. In the meantime, you can download and install the latest update on a PC running Windows 11 21H2 by navigating to Settings > Windows Update.
