AMD Radeon Adrenalin v22.6.1Release
A year ago, at the end of June, AMD's version 21.6.1 driver officially dropped support for Windows 7 and GCN graphics, starting with the HD 7000 series in late 2011 and continuing with the R9 Fury/Nano series, which includes desktop graphics, notebook graphics and APU integrated graphics. All abandoned.
But now AMD is quietly releasing a Radeon Adrenalin version 22.6.1, which will once again provide support for those older graphics cards.
AMD didn't mention any improvements to the older cards in its update notes, which are expected to focus on Bug fixes and security maintenance, but did confirm two known issues:
1. In some games and graphics cards, enhanced synchronization leads to a black screen, which can be temporarily closed.
2, Radeon performance counts and logging may intermittently report extremely high video memory frequencies.
The new driver supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 64-bit oss. The hardware supports the following:
Desktop graphics card
R5 200/300 series, R7 200/300 series, R9 200/300/Fury/Nano series
Laptop graphics card
HD 7700M-7900M series, HD 8500M-8900M series, R5 M200/M300 series, R7 M200/M300/M400 series, R9 M200/M300 series
Integrated graphics card
