Xiaomi announced that MIUI 13 development version will soon be suspended update: MIUI 14 is coming

Last Friday, Xiaomi community released "MIUI 571st week release announcement and update log", in addition to the regular system update content, also announced that the update of MIUI development version will be suspended.

In the announcement, Xiaomi officially announced that due to the adjustment of software architecture, MIUI development version will be suspended for a period of time since the beginning of October 31.

However, MIX FOLD, Xiaomi Tablet 5 Pro 12.4, Xiaomi Tablet 5 Pro 5G, Xiaomi Tablet 5 Pro and Xiaomi Tablet 5 will not be affected and will continue to release the Android 12-based MIUI development version until the new Android 13-based MIUI development version will be released after the model is adapted to Android 13.

Combining the above announcement with the similar situation before, this development version stoppage is likely to mean that MIUI 14 is coming soon.

From the available information, MIUI 14 is expected to debut with the Xiaomi 13 series, and includes Redmi K50 Supreme Edition, K50 Pro, K50, Xiaomi 12S/12S Pro/12S Ultra and other models have also started internal testing of the new system.

At the same time, MIUI 14 will be developed based on Android 13, and will probably be improved in terms of UI fluency and system security.
