Windows 11 must meet five PC configurations to run Android App : minimum 8GB RAM and SSD

After months of anticipation, the Android subsystem of Microsoft Windows has finally launched and is now available to all supported devices that have a device running Windows 11 version 21H2.

On Microsoft's FAQ site, the official bottom line of the five computer configurations needed to run the Android app properly is listed.

Specifically, you need a device running Windows 11 version 21H2 or later, with at least 8GB of RAM (instead of the 4GB needed for Windows 11 itself), and with an officially supported processor from Microsoft. In addition, you will need to enable the Virtual Machine Platform feature from the Optional Features page.

The following is a complete list of requirements:

1. Memory: 8 GB (minimum) and 16 GB (recommended).

2、Storage type: Solid State Drive (SSD).

3. Processor: Your device should meet the Windows 11 requirements of Core i3 8th Gen, Ryzen 3000, Snapdragon 8c or higher.

4、Processor type: x64 or ARM64.

5. Virtual Machine Platform: This optional setting is used for virtualization and you need to enable it from the control panel.

If you meet the above requirements, then you can download and install the latest optional update for Windows 11 (KB5010414), which includes a public preview version of the Android App.

Also, if you want to download and run 1000+ Android APPs from the Amazon AppStore, make sure to set the region of your device to the United States where English is used.
