The new version of Microsoft Remote Assistance Quick Assist is launched

In May this year, Microsoft announced the official "retirement" of the Quick Assist tool on Windows.

But just in the past few months, Quick Assist came back again.

Recently, Microsoft released a new Win11 system update to the Release Preview Insider channel, which adds a new Microsoft Store version of Quick Assist application by default.

This version of Quick Assist adopts the UI design style consistent with Win11, which can help technicians remotely control the user's computer as the old version does, thus assisting in debugging.

At present, this version is still in the test stage. After the test, it will be pushed to the new Win10/11 system.

However, at this stage, it is still uncertain how Microsoft will push the software. If the version of the software pushed by Microsoft Store is the same as that planned earlier, it may easily occur that the version of the software between technicians and users is inconsistent, and the remote control screen operation cannot be successfully completed.
