The One UI 5.0 update is currently being pushed out to the S21 series in a number of European countries, including the UK and Germany. It comes with firmware version number G99xBXXU5DVJC and of course brings some new features, improvements and bug fixes.

One UI 5.0 offers visual design modifications, many customization options, a new widget experience on the home screen, multitasking improvements, camera improvements including the ability to easily zoom with one hand, and much more. It also comes with Samsung DeX improvements, improved security and privacy, and much more.

All of these changes will apply to S21 phones around the world, but users will have to wait a few more days for them to arrive. Samsung is expected to roll it out more widely in the coming days to ensure that all S21 users get the most out of the new content in One UI 5.0. After the Galaxy S21 series, the latest One UI version will arrive on more Galaxy phones in the future.

If the update applies to your S21, you should see a notification. But if you want to check manually, you can download the new update by navigating to Settings > Software Update and clicking Download and Install. Remember, it's currently limited to some European countries.
