Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 revealed: change TSMC 4nm foundry

He said this year can see Qualcomm's three generations of flagship cores dancing together, mainly depending on TSMC N4.

SM8550 not surprisingly corresponds to Snapdragon 8 Gen2, but, according to this meaning, the process seems to be 4nm.

If the final situate misses 3nm, then the possible reason should be the first wave of capacity by Apple, Intel in advance of the round, Qualcomm had to "second best".
