OPPO Watch 3 series announced: the world’s first equipped with Snapdragon W5 Gen1

This morning, OPPO official microblogging officially announced the new OPPO Watch 3 series, the series will be the world's first Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen1 wearable platform.

The official did not reveal the specific time of the launch, but there is information that the launch will be scheduled in early August, that is, next week at the latest.

Snapdragon W5 brings three key upgrades compared to the past: one is ultra-low power consumption to extend battery life; the second is breakthrough performance to enhance user experience; the third is ultra-high integration, compact packaging, making the device thinner and lighter.

The large core and co-processor are manufactured using 4nm and 22nm processes respectively, a significant upgrade over the previous generation's 12nm+28nm combination, and the total area has been reduced by a full 30%.

The large core is responsible for 5% of the interaction time, supporting Wear OS, AOSP operating system and Android applications.

And the coprocessor is responsible for 95% of the scenario time, oriented to FreeRTOS system, integrated M55 CPU core, 2.5D GPU, display, audio, etc., to maintain the daily operation of the device, power consumption will be lower.

The new generation of chips will definitely make OPPO Watch 3 series bring smoother and more feature-rich experience, which is worth looking forward to.
