NVIDIA “claims” Win11 task manager GPU readout bug: being fixed

Previously, it was reported that the task manager in Win11 22H2 had an NVIDIA GPU readout bug that caused the idle graphics card's readout to skyrocket.

NVIDIA has now "claimed" the bug, saying that it is a known issue and a fix is in progress.

From this point of view, if nothing else, NVIDIA will roll out the fix in the next GeForce driver beta and verify that it is correct before rolling out a stable update.

It is reported that in previous user tests, the idle RTX 3070 Ti graphics card appeared to be up to 94% occupied, and the card was basically idle with a temperature of only 39°C.

Therefore, some users speculate that the GPU readings in the Task Manager are faulty, and that the displayed usage is "reversed" from the actual running situation, which is probably around 4% in the screenshot.

Unfortunately, NVIDIA has not specified the cause of the bug.
