Ming-chi Kuo: iPhone 14 keeps Apple on track!

Earlier today, it was reported that the iPhone 14 Max would be delayed by three weeks due to the pandemic, which has apple on edge.

Now, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that based on supply chain news, Apple will not change the iPhone 14 launch schedule, and that production of the iPhone 14 Max is behind schedule but under control, and suppliers can work overtime to meet the launch schedule.

Ming-chi Kuo also said the challenge for the iPhone 14 is on the demand side, not the supply side, and that supply numbers will not be worse than last year, but if demand is high, there will naturally be shortages.

Apple has reportedly asked suppliers to speed up product development work to make up for lost time before delays affect typical manufacturing schedules. Apple is expected to introduce four new iPhone models this year. After seeing lackluster sales of the iPhone 13 Mini, Apple is offering a bigger screen for its flagship device in 2022: The 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

In addition, the supply chain has said that at least one of the four new iPhone 14 models Apple will release this year is behind schedule, and that Apple has reportedly asked Hon Hai to expand its inventory of new models.

The delay of this year's iPhone 14 Max, mainly manufactured by Pegatron, has not affected Hon Hai's iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. As a result, Apple has asked Hon Hai to increase its inventory of new phones to at least 30 million units.
