Microsoft spares no effort to promote Win11 Full-screen reminder to users that Win10 will be discontinued

Recently, a foreign netizen posted on Reddit that his computer with Windows 10 suddenly popped up a full-screen reminder after updating the patch : please embark on a new journey of Windows.

In the pop-up, Microsoft first thanked users for their "loyalty" and then reminded them that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025.

However, at the end of the pop-up window, Microsoft said, "Your computer is not eligible to upgrade to Windows 11, but it will continue to receive Windows 10 patches and security updates."

Netizens were also made to laugh and cry by Microsoft's "tawdry maneuver".

Microsoft has previously confirmed several times that all versions of Windows 10 22H2 (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education, Professional Education, Workstation Professional, and IoT Enterprise) will end support on October 14, 2025.

In fact, back in 2019, Microsoft already used a similar tactic to notify users that support for Windows 7 was coming to an end and strongly recommended that they upgrade to Windows 10.
