Microsoft admits problems with Outlook: will lead to Exchange Online mailboxes can not be configured

Recently, Microsoft released a support document to confirm a new bug in Outlook.

It is reported that the bug may cause users to fail when trying to connect with Exchange Online mailboxes using Outlook, and prompt error code 603 "Unable to configure Exchange Online mailboxes".

Currently, Microsoft has confirmed that the problem is a "service issue" and has given a temporary solution.

After users encounter the issue, administrators can connect to Exchange Online PowerShell and run "Get-Mailbox -ResultSize 10 |fl *sharingpol*" afterwards to confirm that Get-Mailbox will SharingPolicy to the deleted object.

After that, run "New-SharingPolicy -Name "Default Sharing Policy"-Domains '*:CalendarSharingFreeBusySimple',' Anonymous: CalendarSharingFreeBusyReviewer' -Enabled: $true -Default: $true" to restore the default SharingPolicy.

Run "Get-Mailbox -ResultSize 10 |fl *sharingpol*" again to make sure that Get-Mailbox no longer points the SharingPolicy to the deleted object.

After finishing the operation, you can configure mailboxes in Outlook smoothly.
