Macrium Reflect free version will be completely unsupported in 2024

Macrium Software, the developer of the well-known Windows backup and cloning tool Macrium Reflect, has recently announced that it will stop maintenance support for the free version of the software.

According to the information given by the company on the Macrium Reflect product support page, 8.0 will be the last free version of the software, but the related security maintenance will continue until January 1, 2024.

This means that although users can continue to use the free version of Macrium Reflect, version 8.0, there will not be any substantial official feature updates to it after that date, but only until January 1, 2024 to ensure the proper functioning of the software.

This means that free users can continue to use Macrium Reflect for data backup and migration of all system versions from Win XP to Win 11 22H2.

However, in subsequent new versions updated by Microsoft, it will not be possible to successfully complete backup migration and other operations with the free version of the software.
