iPhone 16 series rumored to add a separate photo button: dual touch + press operation

According to a new report from MacRumors, Apple will be adding a new physical photo button below the power button on the iPhone 16.

This button is completely different from the previous iPhone buttons, and for the first time, it supports dual touch + press operation.

Users can implement the zoom function by swiping left and right on the button, and it even recognizes downward pressure for a camera-like two-stage shutter, with a light press for focus and a heavy press for shutter.

The addition of this button will make the iPhone's imaging features more important and convenient, and is expected to enable one-touch camera opening as well.

In addition to the buttons, the iPhone 16 Pro's image configuration will also be significantly upgraded with two 48MP sensors for the first time in history, upgrading the current ultra-wide angle of only 12MP to a 48MP HD lens as well.

This will not only make photos sharper, but also improve the amount of light intake through the larger bottom, as well as improve the performance of the ultra-wide-angle night shots, the details and quality of the shots will be significantly improved.

Also, both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with a periscope telephoto lens, and the smaller-screen version will bring a boost in telephoto as well.
