iPhone 14 screen panel parts and simulated images leaked

We've been hearing for some time that the iPhone 14 will be replacing its screen form factor, with sources claiming that the iPhone will finally get rid of the bangs and replace the existing setup with a perforated screen to house the selfie camera. Now, leaker ShrimpApplePro has posted a photo of what is allegedly the iPhone 14 screen panel.

This image is obviously obscured, but reveals enough information that the infrared sensor (round hole) will actually be hidden and not really visible under the screen. The new selfie camera will reportedly have wider wide-angle shooting capabilities. Unfortunately, the leaked phone with off-screen FaceID does not include touch recognition and the leaked panel does not have any attachments for the fingerprint module.

However, the leaker hinted that some models (presumably the cheaper ones) will have under-screen touch recognition.

It's worth noting that the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will continue to have bangs, much like the iPhone 13. In other words, in the non-Pro models, the place where the Face ID hardware will be placed will be the bangs.

This isn't the first time we've heard rumors about Apple dropping bangs on the iPhone 14 Pro models. Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman both confirmed that the Pro model won't have bangs, but neither of them elaborated on what will replace it. However, Ross Young, a display industry consultant, previously claimed that the Pro models will have Face ID under the display.
