Apple buried AR interactive card Easter eggs in WWDC 2022

As another example of the Web-based AR format, eagle-eyed people recently spotted a hidden set of interactive AR cards on Apple's WWDC 2022 event page. Apple is known for burying whimsical AR objects in invitations, but this is the first time the company has offered a fully interactive version. For those interested, just tap on the "Memoji" around you on your iOS/iPadOS device to kick-start the AR experience.

As shown, you'll see a card pack with apple's WWDC 2022 logo. Click on it to see three cards spread out.

All three cards have a different Memoji on the front and a silhouette on the back.

Clicking on each card opens it in turn and allows visitors to view it from any Angle.

As a reference, Apple has previously hidden a "warp Speed tunnel" that moves through its AR invitations, as well as an entire valley of company logos.

Although Apple usually doesn't bother to explain, it's tempting to wonder about the difficulties. If you're interested, try jumping directly to the AR. Usdz file link (link) in Safari.

Finally, Apple's WWDC 2022 officially kicks off next Monday, June 6, and will be available live on Apple's website, Apple TV, or YouTube, where the company is expected to bring iOS 16 and new hardware (like AR headsets).
