Android 13 hidden features exposed: can lower the resolution to let the battery life again improve

On April 29, Phone Arena reported that Android 13 Beta 1 is now live and Google Pixel models can be tasted and downloaded.

In Android 13 Beta 1, Google offers a resolution switching option that allows users to switch from QHD+ to FHD+ on the Pixel 6 Pro (the Google Pixel 6 Pro has a resolution of 1440×3120), improving battery life.

This function has been realized on domestic phones as early as, for example, OPPO Find X2 Pro, which provides 2412×1080 and 3216×1400 options in the setting item, users can switch freely according to their needs.

It is also worth noting that although Google promised previously that the device installed with Beta Android system does not need to clear the user data when it is returned to the stable version, this function has not been realized yet, so it is still necessary for users who upgraded to Android 13 Beta 1 to backup their personal data.

According to the usual practice, Android 13 Beta 2 will be released in May, and the official version will be launched in the second half of the year, Google Pixel 7 series factory pre-installed Android 13.
