AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D 100MB Cache Ready for Action

AMD will release the new Ryzen 7 5700X3D in Q1 2024, which will also be the cheapest retail model of the 3D cache family.

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D hit the ground running as the first 3D caching processor and became the best choice for mainstream gamers.

In the Zen4 era, AMD launched the Ryzen 9 7950X3D/7900X3D and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D in one fell swoop, but at a much higher positioning and price.

Although AMD later added the Ryzen 5 5600X3D, it was limited to OEM complete units and never retailed.

The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is undoubtedly the downgraded version of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but only the main frequency from 3.4-4.5GHz to 3.0-4.1GHz, while still having 8 cores and 16 threads, 4MB of L2 cache, and 96MB of Tier 3 cache (including 64MB of 3D cache), which is a total of 100MB.

The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is currently priced at RMB 1999, and the Ryzen 7 5700X3D is expected to come in at around RMB 1500, making it an excellent upgrade for gamers who are still using the AM4 platform.

A Ryzen 5 5500X3D was also previously revealed, but apparently it is also for OEMs only, otherwise it could be estimated to be no higher than RMB 1,000 on the retail market, and is bound to sell out.

In the first quarter of next year, we will also see Ryzen 8000G APU, the first retail including 8700G/8600G/8500G, there will also be Ryzen 5 5600GT, Ryzen 5 5500GT, but so far I do not know what this T stands for.
