A large number of Nvidia’s chips have components made in China

The world's strongest AI chip GB200 came out of nowhere, making this GTC 2024 conference hotter than ever, and making NVIDIA founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang once again a global focus.

After the conference, Jen-Hsun Huang accepted an interview with the global media. Between words, he once again emphasized the importance of the Chinese market.

"We are doing everything we can to enable NVIDIA's business to be maximized in China, and we are launching the L20 and H20 chips for the Chinese market, and these chips sold to China will meet the requirements."

Jen-Hsun Huang also revealed that a large number of components in NVIDIA's chips are produced in China, which makes sense with the complexity of the global automotive supply chain.

In his view, the globalization of the supply chain is very difficult to be broken. The implication is that the blockade can not lock the momentum of globalization.

In addition, Huang Jen-Hsun also repeatedly reiterated in the interview, NVIDIA is a platform company, which makes NVIDIA different from any one of the manufacturers only provide chips.

Last year, the global data center market size reached about 250 billion U.S. dollars, and 20% to 25% annual growth rate, NVIDIA in the 250 billion U.S. dollars in the market to occupy an important share.
