SONY releases PS5 DualSense Edge controller

At the Cologne Game Show this morning, Sony released a new PS5 DualSense Edge controller, which is positioned to fully match Microsoft's Xbox Elite controller.

This Edge controller is not much different from the DualSense controller in appearance. It is also mainly white in color, and then adds a sci-fi LED light strip decoration.

Functionally, like the Xbox Elite controller, the Edge handle can change the height of the joystick, adjust the controller module, and have a back button to increase the upper limit of operation for players.

At the same time, this controller can customize the sensitivity and dead zone of the joystick, button mapping, and supports saving multiple sets of configuration files, which can be switched between different configurations according to the needs of different games.

In other respects, the Edge controller inherits all the functions of the original DualSense controller, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, microphones, motion control and other functions.

At present, Sony has not announced the price of the PS5 DualSense Edge controller, but not surprisingly, it should be the same as Microsoft's Xbox elite controller, reaching the thousand yuan level.
