Sony accounted for 54% of the market share with 42% year-over-year growth, surpassing Nintendo and Microsoft combined to become the global console market leader.

Sony's shipments in Q3 reached the highest Q3 level ever and the second best quarter for shipments since the launch of the PS5, and to further boost sales, Sony also launched the PS5 portal.

Nintendo (excluding Switch Lite) shipments fell 15% year-on-year in Q3 2023, dropping to second place with 27% market share.

And it could have fallen even more without the spillover effects from flagship games Zelda Kingdom Tears and the Super Mario Bros. Movie movie.

Microsoft Xbox Series X/S shipments fell 6 percent to about 1.8 million in the third quarter, with the Xbox Series X taking 72 percent of the product share.
