$109.28 billion in debt! Apple becomes the second most indebted tech company in the world

According to the latest research data from BusinessFinancing.co.uk, Apple's debt has reached $109.28 billion (about Rs. 787.9 billion).

This figure is second only to Amazon, the world's second most indebted technology companies.

In addition, Oracle ranked third, IBM fourth, Microsoft fifth, Tencent sixth and Intel seventh.

Apple ranked 50th in the overall global ranking of indebted companies, though analysts believe Apple's debt is within a healthy threshold.

According to the report, the total debt of the world's 100 most indebted companies is $17.96 billion (about 129 billion yuan), of which banks and financial institutions account for an absolutely large proportion, including some Chinese banks, such as CCB, Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), Pudong Development Company (Pudong), Everbright and so on.

When broken down by country and region, the U.S. ranks first, owing $10.8 trillion, or 60.13% of the total.

In other sectors, Toyota is the most indebted car company, JPMorgan Chase is the most indebted bank, and Shell is the most indebted oil company.
