All products of Apple or using the USB-C interface in 2024

On October 4, the European Parliament passed a new instruction that required a manufacturer to use the USB-C interface as a universal port for consumer electronics equipment by the end of 2024.

Gurman said that in order to follow this legislation, Apple will use the USB-C interface at the end of 2024, and the iPhone 15 series will be adapted in advance in the fall of 2023. In addition, the entry version iPad is the only product with Lightning interface in this series. It is expected to switch to the USB-C interface at the end of the year.

Gurman also speculated that Apple will release a new iPhone SE with the Lightning interface in March 2024 and can be sold in Europe.
