Tesla mobile app goes live with AI chat assistant

Tesla has added an artificial intelligence chat assistant to its mobile application.

The AI assistant is known as "Tesla Assistant Beta" and can be used to answer user questions about existing Tesla products or other Tesla products.

This update is another important step for Tesla to improve user experience. Judging from the naming of the Beta version, this AI assistant has just been activated and is not yet mature.

Musk has said more than once that almost all of Tesla's long-term value will come from AI and robotics.

In fact, Musk used AI in Tesla's driver assistance system early on, and participated in the early investment in OpenAI.

In March last year, Musk also founded an AI startup called "X.AI", and increased efforts to promote the AI research and development process.
