Apple releases Year of the Dragon wallpaper: iPhone, iPad form five-clawed Chinese dragon

Every year near Chinese New Year, Apple releases zodiac-themed products and zodiac wallpapers, and this year is no exception.

Red in China has always been a symbol of festivity, good luck, this wallpaper is naturally also in red as the main color, the flavor of the year.

The design features this Chinese dragon flying above the auspicious clouds, with the body of the dragon consisting of a long row of MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones, and the tail consisting of an Apple Watch and AirPods.

There are also blooming fireworks and stars around the dragon.

It's worth noting that the Chinese dragon in Apple's official Year of the Dragon wallpaper is a five-pawed design, rather than the four-pawed one in Apple's recent controversial third-party Year of the Dragon cases.

There are also slight differences between the dragon in Apple's Year of the Dragon wallpaper and the one in Apple's Welcome to Chinese New Year limited time offer, with the back half of the former dragon being the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, while the one in the Chinese New Year event is the iPhone 15 Standard Edition.
