WinRAR is an archiving utility that fully supports RAR and ZIP archives and can decompress CAB, ARJ, LZH, TAR, GZ, UUE, BZ2, JAR, ISO, 7Z and Z archives. It produces consistently smaller archives than the competition, saving disk space and transfer costs.WinRAR uses 128-bit key AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) for archive encryption, giving it an industry edge. It supports files and archives up to 8.589 billion gigabytes in size. It can also create self-extracting and multi-volume archives. With Recovery Records and Recovery Volumes, you can even rebuild physically damaged archives.

• Faster CRC32 checksum calculation improves extraction and archiving performance for packages using this type of checksum.
• There is a noticeable increase in speed when extracting large files, especially uncompressed files saved in "Storage" mode.
• Added "What's New" and "Run WinRAR" buttons to the window that completes the WinRAR installation.
• The "Archive Comments" string is displayed in front of the archive comments in the RAR console.
