Many years ago, the Apple logo after the MacBook was turned on made a lot of people crazy. The luminous logo looked distinctive, and some people thought it was an aesthetic decoration, while others thought it was a sign to brush up their presence.

According to MacRumors, Apple today published a new patent in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office called "electronic device with a backlit partially mirrored structure".

This indicates that Apple is considering picking up the design of the lighted logo and will likely use it in future MacBooks. The patent is for an electronic device with a backlit logo, and the color of the backlight can be changed to light gray or gold.

It is reported that Apple released the third generation of laptops with a lighted logo in 1999 PowerBook G3, and was sought after by the majority of users. Apple then canceled this design in the new MacBook in 2015.

The new patent was proposed by three engineers who joined Apple in 2018, and the way to achieve the luminous logo is different from the previous method, which may bring a more stunning display effect.

However, Apple has now applied for a number of patents, but many of them will not be applied to the product, so whether the MacBook with a luminous logo can return is still unknown.
