Ruijie’s first Wi-Fi 7 AP unveiled: 19.31Gbps rate!

Recently, the 42nd Gulf Information Technology Exhibition was held in Dubai. Ruijie Network's first Wi-Fi 7 AP product RG-AP9860 was unveiled, and the whole machine supports 19.31Gbps access rate.

According to the introduction, Ruijie Wi-Fi 7 AP adopts 14 spatial streams design and supports 4096 quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), while extending the channel bandwidth from 160MHz to 320MHz bandwidth, and the whole machine supports 19.31Gbps theoretical access rate.

In terms of antenna design, the new generation flagship Wi-Fi 7 AP RG-AP9860 adopts the "space station" scenario-based intelligent antenna design with omnidirectional antennas to enhance signal strength and coverage distance.

Among them, 2.4G, 5G and 6G use independent antennas, and the frequency splitting scheme minimizes channel loss and improves sensitivity; the high frequency band is a combination of H-pol and V-pol dual-polarized omni-directional antennas, which improves non-correlation and co-channel antenna isolation and gives full play to OFDMA performance.

And the high frequency antennas fully cover 5G and 6G band range, reserving expansion capability for future band switching and other functions.

Ruijie Wi-Fi 7 APs also support hybrid optical and optical cables for easy deployment and high reliability, and support intelligent operation and maintenance management of the Ruijie WIS cloud management network platform to achieve full physical device visibility, full real-time data visibility and visual management of the network.
