Microsoft will launch a graphic design software called “Desinger”

Microsoft Designer is the United States Microsoft Corporation on Wednesday just announced the launch of graphic design software, this software will provide a free version, while the launch of high-end version, and into the Microsoft "Office family bucket".

Microsoft Designer leverages Microsoft's partnership with research lab OpenAI to integrate DALL-E 2, which uses artificial intelligence to generate images based on text descriptions.

Microsoft acknowledged the inherent risk of abuse in DALL-E 2, saying it has been working on its own and with OpenAI to try to prevent the feature from providing "inappropriate results" such as explicit sexual and violent content; from reinforcing stereotypes; or from being misused.

Microsoft's new app will compete with existing programs and services such as Canva and Adobe Express (formerly Adobe Spark).

Microsoft announced Designer as part of a larger product launch that also included updated versions of several Microsoft Surface devices and accessories.

In addition, Microsoft said it will release an image creator feature for its Bing search engine that also uses DALL-E 2.

A Microsoft spokesperson said that for now, individual users can join a waiting list to get access to subsequent releases of the preview version of Designer. once the software development is all finished, Microsoft will release a free version, plus in two membership packages ("Microsoft 365 Personal Edition" and " Microsoft 365 Home Edition"), adding a high-end version of Designer.
