Overtake Apple! Xiaomi tops the Q2 China TWS headset list

Today, Canalys, a well-known statistical agency, released statistics on the global share of TWS headsets in the second quarter of 2022.

According to statistics, in Q2 this year, Xiaomi overtook Apple with a market share of 14%, took the top spot in the TWS headset market in China, and won the championship in the Russian market with a market share of 31%.

However, from the overall data, China's TWS headset market in the second quarter was not ideal. The growth rate of the first to fourth places on the list was booming. The worst Xiaomi even fell by 30%. Only the fifth place on the list, OPPO Maintained positive growth and achieved an exaggerated increase of 119%.

If we look at the global perspective, TEW earphones were the only category of personal smart audio devices that achieved growth throughout the second quarter, up 8% to a total of 63 million units.

But at the same time, despite the increase in shipments, the market value of TWS fell by 2.9%, that is to say, under the influence of the global economy, the growing market is not enough to make up for its losses.
